Re-manufacturing our CV joints

A Constant Velocity (CV) Joint needs to provide consistent driveshaft speeds regardless of it’s operating angle. Australian CV Joints & Power Steering are Australia’s only CV Joints to be re-manufactured to worldwide OEM standards using CONSTANT VELOCITY SYSTEMS technology.

Each joint goes through a series of comprehensive stages in the re-building process, each stage designed to maintain the highest degree of accuracy in the finished product.

We carry an extensive range of complete, ready to fit driveshafts and a comprehensive range of quality boot kits.

We urge you not to settle for cheaper imported components that fail to stand the test of time – your safety is worth more than that.

Re-manufacturing our Steering

At Australian CV Joints & Power Steering, every Rack, Pump & Steer Box, is meticulously stripped and rebuilt to original manufacturer’s standards, by hand by highly trained staff.

Every item is then thoroughly tested on specialised testing equipment to ensure the highest standards of quality and precision are met on every rack, pump and steer box we send out.

Our reputation has been built on the consistent quality and product knowledge evident in all our products, we are sure you wont find better.

What exactly is Genuine Re-manufactured?

There are two types of replacement parts you can generally get for your vehicle, these are:

  • Genuine Re-manufactured parts and..
  • After-market replacement parts

If a part is ‘Genuine Re-manufactured’ is means that the original part, whether it be a pump, rack, driveshaft etc, is stripped down completely, sand-blasted and hot-washed, then re-machined to exact original manufacturers specifications, then new bearings, seals etc are added and finally the part is then finished by re-spraying with paint.

This results in a part that is equivalent in strength and specifications as the original installed by the manufacturer.

After market replacement parts are often unfortunately manufactured in China these days, and have shown to be of a lessor standard strength wise and not always exactly to manufacturer’s specifications, resulting often in difficulty in fitting and shorter life span.
